THE LITTLE SECRETS OF A GREAT CHEF
Jean-Frédéric Markcacz has been immersed in the world of Polynesian gastronomy for 15 years. He is happy to share some of his little secrets with you. Rendez-vous in tUhe kitchens of the Te Tiare Beach Resort for your introduction. He’ll choose a fish dish, a specialty of our islands, delicately prepared with local flavours and show you how to make his no-less famous soft-centered chocolate dessert. You’ll ba able to impress your friends back home with the dishes you have already tasted and for which our chef gives you a detailed recipe.
The class menu will feature a tartare of tuna flavoured with ginger, mahi-mahi fillet panfried with almonds and coconut cream, chocolate dessert with vanilla ice cream. The hardest part will be to choose from such a feast for the eyes and the taste buds!

UNRAVEL THE MYSTERIES OF SECRET HUAHINE
You can explore the hidden face of Huahine the Secret by 4WD in the expert company of a guide-lecturer, passionate about the island’s history and knowledgeable about its many facets – geology, botany, its peopling by Polynesian migrants, traditional tools, archaeology, agriculture and so on.
The many charms of Huahine will be revealed as you are taken around cultural and historical sites: the royal village of Maeva, the marae of Manunu, fruit and vegetable plantations, the panoramic view from the Belvédère, the village of Faie and its sacred eels, Maroe, Avea Bay, Mahuti Point as well as other marvels.

Includes entry fees to the Cultural Center of Fare Pate’e & fruit juices and mineral waters.
VISIT OUR BOTANICAL GARDEN
The prolific garden of the Te Tiare Beach Resort is spread over 2 hectares. More than 5,000 plants have been brought to the site and landscaped in exceptional visual and intimate harmony. It’s an ideal place for your introduction to the very rich Polynesian flora – a feast for the eyes but also used in our local cuisine. Uru or breadfruit is just one example. On the slope behind the hotel, you will also find avocado, mango, orange trees and of course the omnipresent coconut palm.
The garden resents a 10 years labor of love for us and we would be happy to show it off to you on a guided tour, telling you about our use of the different essences, trees and plants and how they figure in Polynesian culture.
